Girl Rising is a global movement for girls’ education. The movement uses the power of storytelling to build a global community. It is based on a 2013 feature film Girl Rising, directed by Richard E. Robbins, which tells the stories of nine girls from around the world. Their stories reflect on their everyday struggles to overcome cultural and social barriers just to attend school.
The Alexander College/UWE in Larnaca, in association with World Vision Cyprus, is hosting a charity art exhibition and is looking for artists who are willing to donate works of art that can be sold to raise money for this cause.
The exhibition will take place sometime between 13-15 of May
