Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are frequent visitors to St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral in the Byzantine Quarter of Los Angeles, and during the all-important Easter Holy Week, Hanks was spotted at Friday night’s “Epitafio” service.
Hanks actually helped carry the Epitafio around the church, as he has frequently done in years past.
He started attending the church and learning the Greek Orthodox faith after marrying Greek-American Rita Wilson, and to this day he continues to express his love for Greek culture.
