The Position

Westnet is looking for accountant to , to assist the management and handle day-to-day accounting operations of the company.

The position has the following accountabilities:

:• Performing bank reconciliations• Monitoring and maintaining bookkeeping• Preparing and submitting of VAT and VIES returns, liaise with tax & social insurance• Reconcile customer and supplier balances and propose of payment schedule• Administrative duties; maintaining records/ filing documents• Participating and supporting in various financial projects• Processing cheques, AP invoices• Support global and local audits

The ideal candidate should have:

•Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English & Greek

• Business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection.
• Superior project management and interpersonal skills

• Advanced MS Office knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Familiarity with SAP/ERP will be appreciated

• Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and work well under pressure

• Natural tendency to be curious, positive and creative

• Team player who collaborates well with others

• Sincere empathy for the customer and a commitment to delving deep into the challenges they present or experience
